Please read these terms carefully before registering with Maharashtra Paltan

Introduction

Welcome to Maharashtra Paltan! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your registration and participation with our sports teams for tournaments held at PCU College. By registering with Maharashtra Paltan, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your registration.

Registration Rules & Commitment

Free Registration

Registration with Maharashtra Paltan is completely free of cost. There are no hidden charges or registration fees.

Permanent Commitment Policy

IMPORTANT: Once you register with Maharashtra Paltan, your commitment becomes permanent for the tournament season. Players are NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE the team after registration.

Violation of this commitment policy will result in:

  • Immediate serious disciplinary action
  • A mandatory fine of ₹2,000 or more
  • This fine is non-refundable under any circumstances
  • Potential ban from future Maharashtra Paltan activities

Registration Requirements

  • Must be a current student of PCU College
  • Must provide accurate and complete information
  • Must agree to all terms and conditions
  • Must be committed to the full tournament season

Team Benefits & Support

Official Team Jersey

All registered players will receive an official Maharashtra Paltan team jersey at no additional cost. Jersey distribution details will be communicated separately.

Training & Schedules

Additional information regarding training schedules, tournament dates, and other team activities will be provided in due course of time.

Note: Team benefits are exclusively for registered Maharashtra Paltan members and cannot be transferred or shared with non-members.

Code of Conduct

All Maharashtra Paltan players are expected to maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship and conduct:

✅ Expected Behavior:

  • Respectful communication with teammates and opponents
  • Punctual attendance at training and matches
  • Adherence to team strategies and coach instructions
  • Maintenance of physical fitness standards
  • Proper care of team equipment and jersey

❌ Prohibited Actions:

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct or behavior
  • Missing training sessions without valid reason
  • Arguing with referees or officials
  • Any form of discrimination or harassment
  • Damage to team or college property

Disqualification & Penalties

Grounds for Disqualification:

  • Violation of the commitment policy (attempting to leave the team)
  • Repeated breach of code of conduct
  • Providing false information during registration
  • Engaging in activities that bring disrepute to Maharashtra Paltan
  • Failure to pay imposed fines within the stipulated time

Disqualified players will not be eligible for future Maharashtra Paltan activities and may face additional penalties as determined by the organization.

Limitation of Liability & Legal Terms

Limitation of Liability

Maharashtra Paltan, its organizers, and PCU College shall not be liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during training sessions, matches, or related activities. Players participate at their own risk and are encouraged to maintain appropriate insurance coverage.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the state where PCU College is located.

Modifications

Maharashtra Paltan reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Players will be notified of any changes, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By registering with Maharashtra Paltan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with registration.
